We’re given access to the officials’ changing rooms pre- and post-games; listen to their frenzied communications via earpieces during play and see their decisions being analysed at press conferences.

Eschewing voice-over, director Yves Hinant spotlights the reality of an occupation where an unpopular call can result in death threats.
