Ubisoft is teasing a reveal for the long awaited adventure sequel, Beyond Good & Evil 2 (opens in new tab). This image (left) recently appeared on the official Ubisoft Facebook page (opens in new tab), showing off a new image of Pey’J–one of the main characters from the original game.
The text on the site reads “We’re a bit busy prepping for E3. Time to call in some reinforcements.”
The game has been in planning / development for years. The first time it surfaced was in this early concept footage (opens in new tab) from 2008, which points to a game running on hardware more powerful than current Xbox or PlayStation hardware. In other words, it looks like a PS4 or Xbox One game to us…
Unless the first footage leaks early, expect to see Beyond Good & Evil 2 for the first time at Ubisoft’s E3 2013 press conference, which starts at 3pm Pacific time, 11pm UK time.
