Blacksmiths forge Dark Souls Greatsword of Artorias and slay soda bottles

If you thought wielding the Greatsword of Artorias looked tough, you should try forging one. The Man at Arms crew, who previously made the Saw Cleaver (opens in new tab) from Bloodborne (opens in new tab) among many other pop culture weapons, finally took on the much-requested Dark Souls (opens in new tab) sword after dozens of fan requests and it proved to be one of their greatest challenges yet.

Not so into smithing? That’s weird, but whatever: skip to 16:45 if you want to see how high of a real-life Strength stat you’d need just to hold the Greatsword of Artorias upright, and how easily it can vanquish a gallon of milk (spoiler: very easily).

Dark Souls 3 (opens in new tab) will officially be released in the US and UK on April 12, though a bunch of people outside of Japan are already playing the Japanese version (opens in new tab).
