BLASTERMIND It Just Isnt English

NOW WITH ANSWERS – 12 foreign language science fiction films for you to identify

It’s more like Universe City Challenge than Blastermind this week, as we go all high brow with those peculiar overseas films in which you have to read subtitles (if you’re not conversant in the relevant language, that is). We want you to identify 12 foreign language sci-fi films. And just to to make it easier, they are all sci-fi (or sci-fantasy at the very most) because if we were covering horror as well, you’d be overwhelmed by the number of Korean supernatural revenge flicks from which to choose. English or original foreign titles will do.

There are some real classics here that everyone should know, and a couple of obscurities to separate les homme from les garcons.

Usual request: please don’t put answers in the comments section below (though feel free to use it to boast/bemoan how well/badly you’re doing) but the folks on this thread (opens in new tab) are quite happy for you to post and discuss answers if you follow the golden rule of only posting answers in invisible text (if you don’t know how ask somebody there – they’re very friendly).
