Pre-order the limited edition of this animal-licious follow up to EA’s The Sims 3 for 360 or PS3, and you’ll get 10 unique and exclusive breeds (or “character classes” as we equestrians like to call them). The 10 pre-order extras include the Dead Space inspired Ishimura Bobtail cat, a Dragon Age-style Mabari War Hound, a Tiger Husky, a Skunk Birman cat, and more. Those who pre-order the PC version will get a pet store with unique items.

Of course, lesser non-human animals, such as dogs and cats, will be playable in The Sims 3: Pets. But, most importantly, the fifth expansion marks the first time that horses will be fully controllable. It seems that someone at EA has finally seen fit to read my many angry fan letters. The Sims 3: Pets expansion is scheduled to release on October 18 and 21 in North America and Europe respectively. Be sure to do your part for the often ignored hardcore horse community by supporting this title today.
