Do Elephants Prey? review

A middle-aged Ad-man (Jonnie Hurn) decides he needs to get out of the rut he’s stuck in – so he hooks up with a hippy-dippy French girl (Julie Dray) who whisks him off to Europe in search of a mystical lake that will wash away his troubles.

It turns out all you have to do to get in touch with your spiritual side is sit in a tent talking cod-philosophy, run buck naked through the woods and have a lot of sex.

Paul Hills’ wishy-washy Brit flick feels like it was adapted from something you might find inside a fortune cookie.

There are no elephants in it, either – praying or otherwise.
