Thor: The Dark World has released a new teaser clip online, showing Thor and Loki putting aside their (many) differences to form an alliance of necessity.
The new clip consists entirely of a conversation between Thor and his brother, as the former realises he must call upon the assistance of the latter in order to defeat the nefarious Malekith.
Needless to say, there are misgivings on both sides, but the brothers are grudgingly willing to put bygones in the past, in order to save Asgard from the grave peril it finds itself in.
Take a look at the new clip, below:
Much of the promotional material has focused upon the dynamic between Loki and Thor, and it’s that buddy-movie tension that looks to provide the backbone of the new film. And judging by the two stars’ chemistry, that can only be a good thing.
Directed by Alan Taylor and co-starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and Natalie Portman, Thor: The Dark World will open in the UK on 30 October 2013.
