It wouldn’t be Game of Thrones without big battles, big deaths…and White Walkers. The mystical creatures have been an important part of the series since the very beginning, and HBO has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette which gives us some insight into the impressive work that brings them to life. Check it out below…
These ‘Inside Game of Thrones’ featurettes are a really smart move by HBO. They don’t give much away about the upcoming season – there are a couple great shots of the Night’s King wielding his weapon – but they’re very interesting and I immediately got a deeper appreciation for the work that goes into creating the show.
The White Walkers were a big part of ‘Hardhome’ – a.k.a. season 5’s best episode – so hopefully we’ll be seeing them in action a lot more in the upcoming episodes.
Game of Thrones season 6 premieres on HBO on April 24, 2016 in the US, and on Sky Atlantic a day later in the UK.
